every side is filled in — no partial hints, no partial right/wrong counts. Once
the board is full, Check submits it for real: correct adds to your streak, wrong
ends it and you start again.

Pencil and rubber
When on, the numbers themselves always stay white — instead the box a number sits
in goes red the moment it's entered (pencil), then black permanently once its key
mark is confirmed, even if a neighbouring triangle sharing that edge is still only
pencilled.
Click a number in the key once to mark it in red (pencil) —
found, but not yet placed on its exact sides. Click it again to
confirm it in white — permanent, and it stays that way even
as other triangles around it change, until that strike is undone with a third click. It's
kept as an option because it's how the puzzles were always solved on paper, with a pencil
and a rubber, before this on-screen version existed.
